17-May-2025:
The OPEN Meeting of the DSUSBCA was conducted on Saturday, May 17th, starting at 1:00 PM, at Doverama Bowling Lanes. Thank you to all who attended. A review of the current season was discussed, and elections held for board positions that were to be open starting August 1, 2025. One Officer was re-elected for a two year term. Two new persons were elected to two year terms and will be joining the board as Directors starting in August. Three current directors with terms expiring end of July could not be present for this meeting, however they can be re-appointed to one year terms by the President with full board approval, after August 1st, providing their SafeSport and RVP certifications are current. One person has been removed from the Board for not fulfilling Director’s requirements during the season. The officers are considering personnel options for appointing a new director for the vacancy. 17-May-2025:
Prior to the DSUSBCA Open meeting of May 17th, tentative dates for the 2025-2026 DSUSBCA tournaments, both Adult and Youth were chosen. The dates will be finalized after discussions to secure each tournament location have transpired. These tentative dates are now posted on the Tournament pages and Events Calendar for your future planning. Please watch for any timing updates along with location announcements.

Congratulations to Matt Bogia who rolled his first 300 during the DE State Youth Top 15 Tournament today at Mid-County Lanes. It was the second game of a four game set totaling 1038 on games of: 243 – 300 – 242 – 253 Fantastic bowling Matt !

The All Events results for the State Youth tournaments (Singles/Doubles/Trios) has been posted to the youth tournament page, as well as in the Events Calendar under both the Trios tournament and the Singles/Doubles tournament. (You can access the events calendar for all tournaments during the past few years.)

The top 15 qualifiers for the State Youth tournament have been posted. See the Youth tournament page or the calendar of events. If you are on the December 2022 or March 2023 you qualify to enter. The entry form link is available for you in both webpages.

*** Results of the Northern and Southern Adult Seniors tournaments conducted in Decembers are now posted on the tournament page. Prize checks will be mailed soon per the tournament director.

*** Due to the temporary closure of Elk Lanes, a new venue is being pursued for the December 18th Jr. Gold Event.
*** The new location will be announced as soon as possible. The Delaware Jr. Gold tournament director is actively working on this at present.

*** DE & nearby Junior Gold tournaments for the 2022-23 season have been posted to the Jr. Gold Tournament page and the Event Calendar. Entry forms are also posted for each individual tournament.

b) Voting will be conducted for 5 board positions open for election to those interested in serving the Delaware bowling community:

We are including last season’s qualifiers since the tournament last year was cancelled due to the health pandemic.
